Objective:
To provide residents of the shelter with practical tools to promote their social reintegration, improve their well-being and independence, while addressing challenges related to poverty, social exclusion, and other vulnerabilities.
Description of the activity:
The activity would take place over several two-hour sessions, over a period of four to six weeks, to support residents in their gradual reintegration. It could be led by specialized professionals (psychologists, social workers, personal development trainers) and would include theoretical and practical modules.
Modules offered:
Session 1: Understanding Social Reintegration
Presentation of the different aspects of social reintegration: the importance of communication, social relationships, work, and daily life management.
Group discussions to share experiences and challenges.
Session 2: Stress and Emotion Management
Relaxation and stress management techniques.
Practical workshops on managing emotions in social and professional situations.
Session 3: Developing Practical Skills
Workshops on writing a resume, preparing for a job interview, and job searching.
Training on using digital tools for job searching and managing personal finances.
Session 4: Independence and Budget Management
Training on managing a personal budget, with practical advice on saving and daily spending.
Discussions on the importance of independence in reintegration and how to maintain this independence in the long term. Session 5: Daily Life Management Training
Practical advice to improve time and household chore management.
Workshops on nutrition and daily health management.
Session 6: Long-Term Planning and Goals
Help in developing a short-, medium-, and long-term life plan.
Coaching sessions to identify the personal and external resources (associations, social services, training) needed to move forward.
Teaching Methods:
Practical Workshops: Each session will include interactive activities allowing participants to apply the concepts learned, such as role-playing, scenarios, and case studies.
Discussion Groups: To encourage the sharing of experiences and create an environment of mutual support.
