Our services will be available to clients through our organization's platform.
Our organization, Worker Respite, primarily works with low-income individuals in a social reintegration context. We offer, among other things:
Support in managing personal and financial affairs
Provision of essential goods and services
Clients served:
Low-income individuals or those living in poverty
Individuals in shelters, hospitals, institutions, or group homes
Individuals in pretrial detention or custody
Individuals found not criminally responsible or unfit to stand trial, under various regimes (parole, detention, etc.)
Examples of our activities:
1. Support for low-income individuals
o Support in managing personal and financial affairs
o Purchase and distribution of clothing and basic necessities (underwear, slippers, essential items – purchases in-store or online), including applicable taxes
2. Food
o Bulk purchases for redistribution
o Culinary arts and community cooking workshops
3. Provision of essential goods and services
o Distribution of clothing and various supplies
4. Essential healthcare
o Provision of equipment Specialized, free, or discounted services
o Equipment support
o Online ordering of items based on beneficiaries' needs
5. Housing and Rental Improvements
o Rental improvements and essential repairs
o Renovation work and purchase of cleaning products or necessary equipment
6. Community Café-Restaurant – Complementary Business Activity
o Sale of coffee, muffins, croissants, vegetarian plates, low-cost or prepared meals
